Commissions

Commissions are painted on 140# or 300# Arches cold press watercolor paper, depending on the size of the finished painting.  White area is left around for easy matting and framing.  Basic commission price is for painting only, mat and frame not included.  I would be happy to mat and frame for you, and pricing depends on the type and style of frame you might choose.  Please e-mail me for details or for a price.

Watercolor is not intended to be an exact photographic likeness, so if you want a photographic likeness just frame the photo and save your money. I'll probably modify or change the background and take some liberty with colors.

What you see here on my website is my style, so expect similar results.

Send me a photograph by mail or e-mail me a digital image (please try to keep the image size less than 1 meg so it doesn't take forever to download). I reserve the right to refuse if the photo is excessively difficult or for any reason. 

I can return your photo with the completed work, but I've been known to splatter paint around so don't send me an original of anything precious. If it comes back with water spots on it .... well, you've been duly warned.

Commission Pricing

5x7 price is $45 + $4 s&h = $49

8x10 price is $55 + $5 s&h = $60

11x14 price is $70 = $7 s&h = $77

Price is painting only, not matted or framed.  Complete framing is available, pricing on request.
